Accessing Podcasts

If you are interested in listening to any of the podcasts (or “Internet Radio Broadcasts”) that my wife, Joyce, and I do weekly, here are some ways that you can do so:

  • Listen to the current (upcoming) show at http://blogtalkradio.com/everydaylove. On that page you will find the date and time of the next show.
  • On the same page, in a box directly to the right of our picture, you will see a Blog Talk Radio box with our most recent 3 or 4 shows listed and available for listening. Just click on the play button of whichever one interests you.
  • Near the bottom of the http://blogtalkradio.com/everydaylove page, under On Demand Episodes, you will see the previous shows listed by month. Follow the links, and listen on your computer.
  • One of the very best ways of accessing our podcasts also allows you to download any and all episodes to your computer as audio files. Once you have done so, the episodes of our show are available to you, on your computer, on a CD if you burn them there or on your iPod, iPhone or similar device. To follow this route to past episodes, take the following steps:
    • Get a copy of the iTunes software for either Apple or pc, if you don’t already have it. Do a Google search under “iTunes for pc” or “iTunes for Apple,“ or simply go to cnet.downloads and search from there. Once you find the iTunes software, download it to your computer and install it.
    • With iTunes installed, go to the iTunes Store, and enter Every Day Love in the search box.
    • After your search is completed, filter the results by clicking on Podcasts. There you will find us — free for the taking, after you have gotten yourself an iTunes login and used it. You will be asked if you want our podcast. If you answer yes, whenever there is a new episode, it will (magically) appear on your iTunes under Podcasts. You may also be able to get earlier episodes in the same manner.
  • Notice that recent podcast episodes are listed on the home page. All past episodes are also archived on our site. Clicking on any one of them will bring you to that episode on BlogTalkRadio.

A caution: BlogTalkRadio has ads. Before you go looking for a past episode, turn your volume down load. You may otherwise be blasted by a short, but loud ad with audio. Be patient; the pesky ad will go away quickly.
